1. Is the Leoway 2WD Scooter the X9 ?!
http://www.szkixin.com/hx-products/x9.html
2. If yes, what will be exactly the difference, modifications, between the X9 and your “Leo 2WD”?
The main difference between LEOWAY 2WD eScooter and X7, X9 scooters is two motor-wheels, two batteries.
(Auf weitere Nachfrage)
LEOWAY 2WD eScooter will be equipped with a modified handlebar and front disc brake, similar to the X9 scooter.
The removable battery is used the same as in the X7 scooter.
The non-removable battery is located in the scooter deck.
My main problems with my current X7-like-scooter is:
the board is just 16cm width, how width will your board be? Pictures show 19cm, but x9 original specs say 18,3 cm
LEOWAY 2WD eScooter deck has nothing to do with the X9 deck.
Its width is 19 cm.
The single motor is just 350W and i have no chance to get my scooter bring me up any slopes. your campaign says 2x 350W motors (front and back), but you do not tell anything about the PEAK-power of those motors. do they have any peak power or is 350W the max and all they can get? I am asking because the X9 got two 500W motors with a PEAK of 1000W! This is awesome and more then enough power. I need EXACT(!) and DETAILED(!) infos and specs about your both motors please.
The brushless motors of LEOVAY 2WD eScooter have a power of 350 watts.
The peak power of each motor is 700 watts.
This is a modified motor of the X7 scooter.
Diesbezüglich meine weitere Nachfrage:
Sorry for bothering you, but it has a reason why. I am just sending my VELO E7 back as it is just too powerless to get my 105kg up of any hill and not even a small gradient. My VELO E7 got one 350W motor, and i guess without any peak. Thats why it sucks so much. If you say you have TWO 350W motors i do not know if this means it will be more powerful to get my 105 kg up of a gradient better or faster or with full speed. It is still 350W and i dont think i can look at it as it would be a 700W motor, right? Just asking, don’t know if its really notable that it is two times 350 W motors instead of just one. The only thing what makes me hopefull at our scooter is the fact that is allegedly should have 700W peak power. This would be enough i guess. Could you explain to me when exactly the motor is powering up and peaking to 700W. In which circumstances and how long?
I know the battery will drain faster, sure, thats ok. But when does the motor notes to use 700W and when to use only 350W?
To achieve the peak power of the motors of 700W, it is necessary that the batteries are at least 50% charged and the throttle is pressed all the way when riding mode - Sport.
Diesbezüglich meine Nachfrage:
Does this mean BOTH batteries needs to be equiped and BOTH batteries needs to be above 50% to activate the peak power of the motors? What if one is at 20% and the other at 70%? What if only the main battery in the board is active and the other one not inserted? And will both motors activate peak power or just one?
Both motors can run on the same battery.
Each wheel motor has its own controller, which controls its power, taking into account the battery charge.
If the battery in the deck is over 50%, the rear wheel motor will have a peak power of 700W.
If the removable battery has less than 50% charge, the front wheel motor will have less than 700W of peak power.
The charger you deliver with the pledge is a normal (slow) charger, right? Why not sending the power charger instead? So i need to additional buy the power charger to charge faster, right? And i will need TWO chargers to get BOTH batterys full at the same time, right?
To charge two batteries at the same time, you need to have two chargers.
Diesbezüglich meine weitere Nachfrage:
OK, got it. But i am sure i can charge all batteries with the slow charger which comes with the scooter, but can i also charge ALL(!) batteries with the fast charger i will order additionaly or only the big one in the bottomplate/board? The fast charger leeches more ampere and i do not want to harm the 6,4Ah tubebatteries. Thats why i am asking.
The fast power charger is designed to charge the battery in the scooter deck.
It can be used to charge a removable battery, but not often.
Two chargers charge two batteries in 3 hours.
The wires are totaly hidden at the X9, which is modernd and up-to-date on the market, not one single rope is exposed, except at the rear brake. Is that on your scooter same?
The brake cables and wires are visible near the handlebars on the X9 scooter.
LEOWAY 2WD eScooter will have approximately the same handlebar.
As my scooter is also made by your chinese company (Kixin) and they already added the anti-steel eyelet (to many other of their scooters for resellers) and i realy need this, have you asked them if they can add it to your scooter also? (check me pictures again i showed you yesterday, this is just very helpful and comfortable!)
We had no plans to add an eyelet.
But, we will try to mount the eyelet on LEOWAY 2WD eScooter.
I know that you have not got the plan to add the eyelet, but as you can see, also on much older requests and comments, several users asking for i as more and more scooters get them. And that it is not a problem at all to get it on yours too you can see in this video from our manufacturer:
This videos is only 2 weeks old and you can see tons of stems with eyelet,
check out time 01:53 to see it. It would be amazing and another selling point if you will add it.
We will consider adding an eyelet.
Später bestätigt im Update vom 13. Juli:
"As for the second batch of eScooters, which will be manufactured in August. An anti-theft eyelet will be mounted on the stem. The standard USB will also be mounted to charge the smartphone. The delivery of eScooters will be in October. If someone is ready to wait, you need to confirm this by sending an email from your order account on Indiegogo."
Could you tell me how width the total handlebar will be on your scooter? On my VELO E7 i got only 44cm and it feels not good, 5-10 cm more would make the driving more stable.
The handlebars are 480 mm wide.
I understand that there will be NFC-Cards to start or unlock the LEOWAY scooter and also with the app (if the smartphone supports NFC). An app is really nice and very much appreciated, but i guess it will still be able to START the scooter by pressing the POWER button at the handlebar?! Or will it be able to deactive it? (recommended)
You can disable the use of NFC cards in the scooter settings.
You can turn on the scooter by pressing only a power button.
The App which is currently in development and nothing is know about it, when will it be available and what exactly can we do and see on and with the app?
The app will show information about your scooter riding modes (speed, mileage, time, etc.), as well as information about the remaining riding range.
What will be the perfect air pressure in bar in the tubless tires? What should not be exceeded and what not fallen below?
10x2.125in tires are rated for a maximum of 50PSI
What is the ground clearance of your eScooter?
115mm ground clearance of LEOWAY 2WD eScooter.

Over and Out. Peace.
